Terms of Sale

By placing an order with SoCal Turf Supply ("we", "us", "our"), you ("Customer", "you") agree to the following Terms of Sale. Please read them carefully — placing an order constitutes acceptance.

## 1. Products and Appearance
Artificial turf is a manufactured product designed to replicate the look of natural grass. Color, blade height, blade shape, pile direction, and backing characteristics may vary slightly between production runs and dye lots. Photos on our website and printed marketing materials represent typical appearance and are not guaranteed exact matches to delivered product.
Manufacturing tolerances of approximately ±3% on roll width and ±5% on pile weight are normal and within industry (ASTM) standards.
We strongly recommend ordering a physical sample swatch before placing a full order. Samples are available on our website.
## 2. Dye Lots
Rolls ordered together on a single purchase order will ship from the same dye lot when possible. Reorders placed separately may come from different dye lots and may not match exactly. If color matching across multiple rolls is critical to your project, order all needed rolls in a single transaction and notify us so we can confirm lot availability.
## 3. Full Rolls vs. Cut Rolls
- Full Rolls (15 ft × 100 ft = 1,500 sq ft): Stock product. Returnable within 14 days of delivery, in original unopened condition, at Customer's expense for return freight, subject to a 25% restocking fee.
- Cut Rolls (per square foot): Custom-cut to your specified length from a full roll. Cut Rolls are made-to-order and final sale — no returns, refunds, or exchanges except in the case of a verified manufacturing defect.
A $30 cut fee applies to every Cut Roll order.
## 4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars and subject to change without notice. Sales tax is added where applicable. We accept major credit/debit cards via Squarespace Payments / Stripe.
For orders over $5,000, we may require payment by ACH transfer or wire in lieu of credit card.
By submitting an order, you authorize SoCal Turf Supply to charge the payment method provided for the full order total, including products, applicable taxes, delivery fees, and the $30 cut fee where applicable.
## 5. Delivery
We deliver via freight carrier within our published service area. Delivery fees are calculated by ZIP code at checkout.
- Delivery windows are estimates only, not guaranteed dates. Freight delays caused by carriers, weather, or other factors beyond our control are not grounds for refund or chargeback.
- Title and risk of loss transfer to the Customer upon delivery to the shipping address provided.
- Customer is responsible for being present, or arranging a designated recipient, to accept delivery. Re-delivery fees apply for missed deliveries.
- Delivery is to a single curbside or driveway location at the shipping address. Inside delivery, off-loading by hand, or placement beyond the truck's reach is the Customer's responsibility.
## 6. Inspection at Delivery — IMPORTANT
You must inspect all product at the time of delivery, before signing the carrier's delivery receipt (Bill of Lading / BOL).
- Count rolls and verify product matches the order
- Photograph the pallet, packaging, and any visible damage from multiple angles
- Note any damage, shortage, or discrepancy in writing on the BOL before signing
- If damage or shortage is significant, you may refuse the shipment
Claims for damage or shortage not noted on the signed BOL cannot be honored, as the carrier and our freight insurance will deny them. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs and the noted BOL to begin a claim.
## 7. Returns and Refunds
- Cut Rolls and custom-cut product: Final sale. No returns.
- Full Rolls: 14-day return window from delivery date, in original unopened condition. Customer arranges and pays return freight. A 25% restocking fee is deducted from the refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of return inspection.
- Defective product: If you receive product with a verified manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and order number. We will arrange replacement or refund at our discretion.
## 8. Warranty
Manufacturer warranties (typically 8–15 years on UV fade and fiber integrity, varying by product line) pass through to the original purchaser. Warranty claims are handled directly with the manufacturer; SoCal Turf Supply will assist with documentation and submission. Improper installation, misuse, vandalism, fire, and acts of nature are excluded.
## 9. Installation
SoCal Turf Supply sells materials only and does not perform installation under the SoCal Turf Supply brand. We are not responsible for installation results, fitness for a particular project, sub-base preparation, drainage, or any condition arising from how the product is installed. Always consult a qualified installer.
## 10. Chargebacks and Disputes
Before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute, Customer agrees to contact SoCal Turf Supply directly at the email/phone listed on our Contact page to attempt resolution. We resolve legitimate issues quickly and directly.
Chargebacks filed without first contacting us, or filed for reasons inconsistent with these Terms (e.g., disputing a Cut Roll order as "not received" when delivery was signed for), will be contested with full documentation including:
- Order confirmation and Terms acceptance record
- AVS/CVV verification result
- IP address and device fingerprint at time of order
- Shipping records, BOL, and signed delivery receipt
- Email and call logs
Customer agrees that fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks may be referred to collections and that Customer will be responsible for collection costs, chargeback fees, and reasonable attorney's fees incurred in recovery.
## 11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoCal Turf Supply's total liability for any claim arising from a transaction is limited to the purchase price paid for the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost time, installation labor, or project delays.
## 12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.
